[ Ragna isn't left waiting for long by the time the Queen has arrived. But when he lays his eyes on her, her choice in attire actually...manages to throw him for a loop! Not in any unpleasant fashion, but to see her more relaxed despite the lofty circumstances she finds herself in, actually does a good job in setting him at ease in turn. This was supposed to be your everyday unwinding opportunity; the truth was that seemed to be hard to come by these days. Not that he ever minded the wildfire of a spark that was their type of relationship from the start.

But despite how uncouth he could be behind closed doors (and in public, really. everyone's heard his mouth aksjldf), if there was one thing that he wouldn't say no to, it was a little more normalcy in his life. Yet again, something that could no longer be granted to him in the life that he knew back home. But until the time came that everything and everyone was set back in place, he's here now, bags in hand and her little yet welcoming smile urging a small one from Ragna in kind. Not many people spoke French back home anymore, but it does sound familiar!
